Somewhere along the way, slowing down started to feel like a luxury

In a world that constantly asks us to do more and move faster, ora is an invitation to slow down.

To pause.
To breathe.
To be.

ora is about coming back to the simple things that make us feel good. Moving our bodies. Eating well. Resting deeply. Being surrounded by women. Having nowhere to be.

We create a safe space to let go of expectations, to quiet the noise and give yourself the attention you so often give to everything else.

Mind, body and soul are always at the heart of what we do.

Meet Julie & Rilke

ora came to life long before there was a name. It grew from years of friendship, long kitchen table conversations, shared travels and a mutual love for a wellbeing in every sense of the word.

We live in a world that encourages being busy. Always connected. Always moving. Yet so many women are craving the exact opposite: more space, more balance and more moments to simply be.

Julie is a yoga teacher, trained in Bali with more than 200 hours of practice, and leads part of the practice during the retreats. She is on her own spiritual path, and found her way home to yoga through her personal journey. With ora, she hopes to share that same feeling with other women offering a place to discover what yoga can mean beyond the mat.

With years of experience in event and incentive travel, creating meaningful experiences and making people feel welcome has always been at the heart of what Rilke does. She discovered the beauty of yoga and everything it stands for by travelling the world on her own. She got introduced to different cultures, unexpected connections and places that left a lasting impression. Along the way, yoga became another reminder that the most meaningful moments are often the simplest ones.

Their compatibility through their experiences — both professionally and in life, made sense. Together they've dreamed of creating something that has meaning. And with that, ora was born.

Whether you're joining the retreat to seek connection, or to find stillness within yourself: you have a place at ora whatever your purpose or intention may be. We can't wait to welcome you with an open heart and kindness.
